The primary mission of the KHC is to support the horse industry through education and leadership.
Education takes a variety of forms, including seminars and classes (including hands-on), conferences, articles, publications, web based information, DVD's and email notifications.
Annually KHC holds a conference (open to both members and non-members) which features educational breakout sessions conducted by industry experts.
KHC is also a leader in the development and planning of the Kentucky Equine Networking Association (KENA) which provides an opportunity for equine business owners, association leaders, facility managers, and other equine professionals to network and learn.
KHC members receive regular emails, newsletter, and notices which provide up to date information on horse health, management, current horse related news, and more.
