			<description>                         On October 6, 2011, the Kentucky Department of Agriculture announced the addition of equine livestock to the Kentucky Proud program.                 The Kentucky Horse Council worked with KEEP on the establishment of this program, and we believe this will be one more tool in the equine farm's toolbox to help market and sell our Kentucky-born horses.                                    Below are the steps you can follow to register your farm as Kentucky Proud:                  Print out and fill out the Kentucky Proud Equine form. (link) This is a specially designed form just for equine farm applicants. Note that there is NO FEE for this Kentucky Proud farm membership.
