Ladies bring your own horse, mule, or donkey and spend the weekend at
Shaker Village in support of the Kentucky Horse Council's
Livestock Investigation Training. The second annual Girls Ride Out is scheduled November 7 & 8, 2009. Rides are planned both Saturday and Sunday and onsite lodging and meals are available.
Saturday trail ride begins at 10 a.m. with a break for lunch either in the village or bring your own. Afternoon ride from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. followed by dinner at the lodge. Sunday riding is planned from 9 a.m. - noon.
Sunday afternoon riding is optional and on your own.
The cost to ride for the weekend is $25 payable to the Kentucky Horse Council in advance. Proceeds from the ride support scholarships for Animal Control and Peace Officers attending
Livestock Investigation Training. The $25 fee is a tax deductible donation.

Lodging & Meals
A package which includes lodging, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast, and paddock rental is available for roughly $160 per night (single occupancy) and $120 per night per person (double occupancy). Stalls are also available for an additional $10 per night. Rooms must be booked by October 5, 2009 to receive these rates.
