Liability Protection
Equine liability signs should be posted all all horse farms in Kentucky. As a KHC non-profit member you receive a free outdoor heavy duty liability sign guaranteed to meet the requirements of KRS 247.4027. Simply drop by the office to pick up yours or send KHC $5.00 to cover shipping.
Through your Horse Council membership you may be eligible for discounted insurance rates through Equisure, Inc.
Voting
Equine Non-Profit Members are non-voting.
Eligibility
Non-Profit members must be an equine organization with 501(c)_ status wth the Commonwealth of Kentucky and/or the federal government.
Use of the KHC Logo
KHC non-profit members may use the KHC logo
ONLY with the words: "
Member of the Kentucky Horse Council". Please contact the office for a high resolution digital copy of the KHC logo. KHC does sponsor classes and events and only when an agreement is made between both parties can the KHC name or logo be used with the words sponsor or the implication of sponsorship.
