"Your support of this auction ensures that the Kentucky Horse Council can continue to provide the education, advocacy, and emergency resources that keep our industry vibrant and our horses safe," says Kentucky Horse Council Executive Director Sarah Coleman. "It provides hay and feed to horse owners facing a financial crisis; transportation to horses being surrendered to an equine rescue; financial support to agencies responding to equine neglect and abuse cases; a peaceful passing to horses at the end of their lives; and training for first responders and veterinarians on how to extricate horses from potentially perilous situations like tailer turnovers and sink hole entrapments – and so much more. You aren't just bidding on an item; you're investing in the protection of one of our state's signature industries."
